It does not cover the Shoebill Feed software itself: because it's self-hosted, whoever runs their own instance is responsible for how that instance handles data. If you're using someone else's instance, ask them about their privacy practices.

• Server logs: like most web servers, this one may temporarily log technical information (IP address, browser type, date/time of access) purely to keep the site running securely. These logs are not used for tracking or profiling and are deleted automatically after a short period.
• Local preferences: your language and light/dark theme choice are stored only in your browser's local storage, never sent to a server, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.

This site does not use cookies for tracking, does not run third-party analytics, and does not show ads. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.

Server log data is processed under legitimate interest in operating a secure, stable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you email the address on the Imprint page, that message goes directly through your own email provider — it never passes through this website or its server.
